The industrial research project “EdgeMetrix 5Gi4.0”,partially funded by “Legge provinciale 6/99 sugli incentivi alle imprese” (L.P. 6/99) of Provincia Autonoma di Trento, has been successfully completed.

We have developed an innovative solution where data is analyzed using Machine Learning to detect anomalies and prevent failures, thereby improving operational efficiency. Thanks to the Internet of Things (IoT), it is possible to extend monitoring to legacy assets without integrated sensors, reducing costs and simplifying anomaly detection.

Despite the challenges posed by extreme industrial environments and the limited computing capabilities of IoT devices, our solution stands out for its ability to detect anomalies even in situations with missing or incomplete data, utilizing specialized Machine Learning algorithms.
